East Fremont or the Fremont East District is located from on Fremont Street east of Las Vegas Blvd. East Fremont is located in the heart of downtown Las Vegas, where it sits adjacent to the Fremont Street Experience. If you are looking to get away from the craziness of the Las Vegas Strip East Fremont offers blues and jazz nightclubs, live music entertainment, as well as a number of new restaurants and bars that either just opened or will be opening soon. In 2002, the city of Las Vegas Redevelopment Agency created an entertainment district in the heart of downtown Las Vegas: Fremont East.

East Fremont Location

The Fremont East Entertainment District offers an eclectic mixture of bars, clubs and restaurants along Fremont Street from Las Vegas Boulevard to Eighth Street. The district continues one block north of Fremont Street to Ogden Avenue and one block south to Carson Avenue.

The following are some of the most popular restaurants and bars that are located on Fremont Street are Park on Fremont, Don’t Tell Mama Piano Bar, Downtown Cocktail Room, Vanguard Lounge, Beauty Bar, The Griffin, Commonwealth, Insert Coin(s) Video Lounge, Le Thai Vegas, Backstage Bar & Billards and Fremont Country Club. Coming soon Michael Morton, owner of La Cave, will be opening La Comida.
